Underground parking or Surface Parking
Community residents will have access to free parking for their cars—either surface lots or underground parking (available on a first-come, first-served basis).
Private Dining Room
Residents will be able to order meals and entertain guests (up to 12 people) in a private dinning room for either lunch or dinner.
Library/Computer Lab
Residents can access the Internet and utilize a printer in the library. The building will offer free wireless internet connection throughout.
Community room
Join friends in the room for both scheduled and unscheduled activities, including Wii, bingo, puzzles and movies.
Fitness Center
A private workout room with equipment specially designed for the aging adult is on premises.
Beauty Salon
A hair dresser/barber will be available in the beauty salon.
Playground
An outdoor playground welcomes “little visitors” of residents and their guests.
Medical Office
A registered nurse will be available to check blood pressure and blood sugar during the open hours of the Deerwood clinic.
Sun Rooms
Residents will be able to play with visiting children in an sun family room. It will be child safe and have toys appropriate for small children.
Piano Room and Café Lounge
A café lounge will welcome residents for coffee and snacks in the morning, and provide the perfect venue for guest performers. Once a week, the café lounge will turn into a cocktail lounge for happy hour. Three other themed sunrooms are located throughout the building.
Activity Center
Weekly baking class, monthly scrapbooking & card making. Deerwood Crossing includes dedicated space for the enjoyment and enrichment of our seniors. |
